Spent all last week at the Ashokan Western & Swing Week (not Ashokan Uke Fest - that's this week). Here is Masako Kawashima on vocals, me on my new Talsma Uke and Peter Davis on clarinet. Live! Masako came all the way from Tokyo, Japan to take uke lessons with me (after viewing my YouTube videos). Cool eh? I am very honored that she did this.

That was fantastic Gerald! I'm kicking myself in the ass because I can't make the Ashoken Uke Fest but my mom is very sick and trying to enjoy what is most likely her last few months left on this earth so I gotta stay close to home...cancer sucks!
Fantastic job by you, Peter, and the lovely Masako...you guys hit it out of the park!

This performance just came together. We had a 2 minute rehearsal just before going on stage!
