I got these out of the bin today...

Old arch top guitar sides of master grade Tassy blackwood that were left by a student after some light figure cracking in the upper bout and mindlessly thrown away.

I'm a proud dumpster diver!

Tenor uke here I come.

Ha ha.... Nice. I remember an odd piece you picked up at a thrift store (I think it had an image of a dog on it?).... Did anything ever come of that?

haha- good memory!

That bit of Good Will mahogany (I call it 'Good Will Hunting') is back in Colorado. Ill make a neck out of it when i get back there in October

well- it has taken me, apparently, 4 months to get to this but this is the back, made from the wood shown in the first posted pic. These sides flattened out fine and were long enough for tenor back and sides
