Here's the story/saga on this one:

I owned an Hamano. I loved it. I sold it to upgrade to a Favilla. I didn't connect with the Favilla, so I sold it and bought another Hamano (the one for sale tonight). Meanwhile, I had a shot at a Timms 0, so I took it. I sold this Hamano to a student. I ran into this student not long ago, and she told me the Hamano had sat in her room, unplayed, all year. So I bought it back from her.

It just seems a shame that this (or any uke, really) should go unplaced and unplayed.

So I cleaned out all the dust bunnies, restrung it with some Southcoast mediums, and found a gig bag for it. Now it could be yours!

Here are the specs:

Solid mahogany top, back and sides
Rosewood fretboard
Friction tuners
Bone nut and saddle
Southcoast medium strings
Attitude gig bag

It has low action and a great old-timey bark. Honestly, I have no idea why we don't see more of them in the states.

Cheers.

This is a great uke! I had one some time ago and really liked it. I sold mine to a student too.

Note that it's solid mahogany, folks, with a high-quality gig bag.
