After spending the day dancing & listening to a lot of great music (and avoiding a lot of "I'm not old, your music s*cks" stuff), it hit me: there are no bands with ukes on the Warped Tour.

In the past there have been guys like Rev. Peyton and Larry & his flask (punk old timey), lots of Celtic Punk (Dropkick Murphys, Flatfoot 56, Flogging Molly, etc.), Skinny Lister (punk folk) and this year more Ska than you can shake a stick at; however, no punk uke bands.

This needs to be fixed! I'm too old, my son's punk band, Associated Press, broke up (and the drummer was always passed out cold and didn't really play any way) an my other son doesn't play uke. The world needs to see that ukes can be punk too!

Who's with me?

I'm down. I'm going to work up Teenage Lobotomy and Shot From Both Sides.

The Rev on Uke would be totally awesome. He was playing a cigar box guitar a fan made when he was in Boston a while back, maybe a cigar box uke to match it?

Ive been trying for awhile..Best I could do so far was a one time Black Flag uke circle for about an hour..Good fun !!!!!!
