Fretting pliers

I made a cheapo version of a fretting tool I saw in the Stewmac catalogue. It appears to work, even!

I like your use of the magnets. When I saw the initial picture I was wondering how it was held together.

It's a bit wobbly as it is, I need some rubber bands or string between the metal cauls and the jaws. A spring washer would be really good but I can't get one in there.
