scratches

hey, I just got my applause uke today after 30 minutes of playing it I saw that the body is easily scratched by my fingernails? or is it cleanable? its one of those delicate finishes.Help! im going crazy over this!

I would recommend buying a clear pickguard like Aldrine has on his ukes. I forget which video he recommends this in.

Scatches will come out of that uke with a bit of guitar polish, don't worry to much. What you need to do is get a polishing bar for your nails and smooth them out it will stop the scratches.

Now things that don;t have a good finish on them you can destroy over time, take my flea, at some point I am going to have to replace the top I have actually dug into the wood.
