The Winecountry Ukefest will be the weekend of September 7th and 8th. I went last year and loved it, and this year I will have a booth (Silvastudio) this year, with my wrapped canvas prints. It would be great to meet everyone.

KinnardUkes will be there! Looking forward to meeting fellow UU players and showing off some of John Kinnard's ukes. Stop by our table and say hello to my wife Deb and me.

Mike will be setting up for us. I didn't really want to but ya know, he gets rock fever. SHould be bringing some nice peices as you would expect :D Perfect Denise, you can spend some time with ones you've been thinking over.

Yes, Andrew...I was hoping he would be bring some nice ones....we may be neighbors with our booths!

I have a couple of Denise's prints and they are simply wonderful. They would be a bright and inspirational addition to anyone's uke room. If you're in the area, go to the Ukefest and give her a visit!

Thanks so much for your kind words. I feel honored to have my prints in your home....And I really do hope to meet a lot of people from the Forum..it will be so wonderful to finally put faces with the names....

Ohana will have a booth there, as we do every year. I will have Danny, who also works for Ohana, there with me. I will also be giving three workshops and playing in the Friday evening concert, as well as performing during the day on either Saturday or Sunday.

It is a festival I always look forward to. A very friendly atmosphere, lots of people to chat with, great stalls displaying nice ukes and about 40 workshops to choose from.

Since my wife and I will be in the Bay Area visiting her mom, at Gary (gyosh)'s urging, we've moved things around, and will be there on Saturday, the 7th. (Maybe a little on Sunday, depending on stuff...)

I've signed up for Ken Middleton's "Getting out of your rut" workshop, and Sarah Meisel's "Playing up the neck" - I hope I'm not out of my league.

I look forward to seeing Gary, Dave, and Mark again, and meeting many of you for the first time.

And I will be bringing my Donaldson Custom with me... I really haven't played any of the others, since I got it! (Thanks again, Brad!)

Looking forward to seeing everyone I met in the past and meeting new people too.

Hey Len . . . will do. They won't have me escorted out or anything if I mention your name? :)

I'm bringing my Kamaka with me too because two of my workshops specify re-entrant tuning. It'll look like I'm running away from home.

If anyone wants to play either of my ukes (Compass Rose: cherry b/s w/Adi spruce top or Kamaka HF-3) just ask. I'd love to hear what they're supposed to sound like :)

his CD should be out soon...I send you one...

I will be there doing a video segment for my YouTube channel, interviewing some folks hopefully and doing a walk around, assuming folks are amicable to being on YouTube. Always fun to see folks you don't see but 1 or 2x a year.

See ya there!

Hau`oli la hanau Eric . . . always next year, maybe Hayward?

I'll be there on Saturday for my first uke festival. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing everything ukulele. Can anyone tell me if the "flea market" is a big deal there?

Hopefully Elaine may chip in, but I think last year there were two tables with ukuleles. Are you thinking to buy or sell? By the way this is a great first Ukulele fest to go to..lots of friendly people and a great atmosphere (just like this forum). Stop by my both to say Hi, as I am hoping to meet all the forum people!
