As someone who spent two years as a retail manager (in a kid's teddy bear store that shall remain nameless), I can really relate. You get treated like crap when you work retail, and the customer is really often NOT RIGHT! I have always been nice and polite to wait staff, customer service, retail employees, etc. but after working that awful job, I'm almost overly polite to them to make up for the idiots they deal with every day.

Thanks for adding a smile to my day!

If you think retail is bad, try working in an urban hospital emergency room!!
