Saw that Mim had this in stock and curiosity got the best of me!

Solid spruce top, flamed mahogany back (nice bookmatched figure!) & sides. Wood binding, but I'm not sure what kind - maple maybe? Gloss finish, which normally is not my cup of tea, but this is so unique I can live with it.

The neck is barely wider than a normal uke's - only 1.5 inch. Compare to most steel string guitars, which are 1.625-1.75 inch, or classical guitars which are commonly 2 inch, this is just crazy! Fingerpicking is pretty much out of the question. Flatpicking it is!

The bass strings add a bit of growl to the tone, and the trebs are nice and sparkly. Not wild about the strings that are on it - I think they're Aquillas? - so I may have to do some experimentation to find a string set I can live with.

Congratulations, it's pretty! what are you gonna do with those extra strings?
