Please make a video that takes your work seriously... talk us through it. It looks great and you seem to be throwing away an opportunity to showcase your efforts.

Please do. Everyone loves a story and I learn a lot from these amateur builds - yes there is so much to learn still!

Well amateur ukulele builder at least...I've been building and repairing guitars and mandolins for a good ten years, but I learned a clever way to use a profile jig for machining a neck from you though!

As you said the learning never stops!
I get nervous in front of camera's. Something to work on.

Actually the neck came from a friends Japanese uke that he left in the back window of his car for the summer (in Arizona no less) and the body crumpled like parchment paper! Perfect candidate for this project though.
I will be making the next one...and it probably wont be cigar related.
What a deep well this is!

No worry's! Wow now I'm addicted to your uke building series Pete Howlett!
You are great at teaching as well as building.

Thanks! Your ukes are an inspiration to me! I can't wait to get started on my next uke project! (gotta get these pesky guit-fiddles out the way).;)

I hope so Mike - you now know where I am coming from and I am just here to serve the ukulele community. Doing a couple of vids today...
