Hey UU,

I have a 1950/60s Harmony H1201 Tenor Guitar I'd like to re-home. It has a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and is generally awesome.

This one's been done over: neck reset, bridge reset (with new bridge plate), fret level and dressing, and overspray. It has nice action and plays clean all the way up the (long for us ukers!) fretboard.

There's a bit of strum wear on the upper treble bout, and one of the bridge pins isn't an exact match, but otherwise it's in great shape.

Strung with D'Addario light trebles, tuned Chicago style, DGBE. (Actually, I purchased it to play with lower tunings; this one feels great tuned a full step down, ie CFAD.)

I had one of these and they are very well made, plus have vintage guitar mojo. I love the neck and the sound of the steel strings.

Yup, my feelings as well. Only selling so I can get another (cough cough, Gibson) one.

The Gibson I was chasing sold, so I'll be happy to entertain trade offers for either sopranos or baritones.

Nut width is 1 1/4".

It takes me a couple of minutes playing to adjust to the combination of scale length and nut width, but it's just that: an adjustment. (I have the same problem switching back to soprano after playing the Bari for a few days.)

You can hear me struggle in the final sample; it's admittedly difficult (for me) to hit above the fifteenth fret cleanly, but I hope this gives you a sense of the range this instrument has.

In case anyone is on the fence, (especially since this now has the stain of a once-returned instrument), I'm happy to offer a trial period of a couple of days. Buyer pays return shipping + insurance (it was about $30 to ship cross-country), and promises to return in the condition received.

I don't have a case for it, but I'll measure it tonight and figure out what would be a good fit.

Quick guess would be a travel/baby guitar. I can tell you it won't fit in a baritone case.
