I just picked this up in a trade yesterday. It seems to be handmade. It has a bone nut and very nice construction. It plays in tune. Does anyone recoginize the handiwork here? It has no markings. It may just be a pet project someone did. Thanks for the input!

oak is not a common wood for small instruments because of its weight. The primitive stringing through tor tailpiece leads me to believe it might be a very nicely crafted home built.

I don't know what it is, but it's really pretty! How does it sound?

Sounds pretty good! I picked it up in a trade recently. I was really impressed at the construction of it in person. I plan on putting it up on the local craigslist. Any idea what something like it would go for? $30, $60, $100, $5?

does anyone notice the 'dots' ? number 10 is at 9th fret!!!!
