I have one of these, the stock tuners are just plastic pegs that are nearly impossible to tune.
The ukes were molded so I would guess they are all the same.
I reamed out the holes and put a set of friction tuners (cheap ones too) and the uke stays tuned.
It has a plinky sound very similar to the new outdoor ukuleles.
The pieces are glued together so I doubt they are as durable to weather conditions as the outdoor ukes, but if you get it at a good price, it can be fun.
