FOR SALE: 1969 Vintage Kamaka Gold Label Tiki Head Ukulele.

I know this is my first post here, but I am done with eBay. I have sold a ton of guitars and other stringed instruments, and I am a fair and honest seller.

This ukulele is for a collector. It is in pristine, unused condition, with virtually no signs of wear, and it comes in its original case. There is not a nick, scratch, dent, or ding to be found. The neckblock is stamped "Jun-4 1969". Please look at the pictures very carefully. All joints and seams are tight, and the koa wood is dazzling.

I am asking $1500 or Best Offer. I am happy to provide more pictures upon request.

Thanks, and Have a Nice Day!

Aloha Violinpie,
I have the same uke, but yours looks in mint condition...amazing I must say... in fact I had a few of these....the gold label tiki was first out in 1969 and only year
of the gold label...in 1970 it turned to the white label and they were produced only for four more years...they are highly sought after especially in mint condition like yours....good Luck
kamaka collector... yours may be one of the first ones, it has the same pastic white nut, but the saddle is different and may be the the earliest one, I see you shave it down for the action,
I cut grooves in mine to keep the more original look....

Is this a Concert?

I believe the first ones had a shorter tiki; this is the taller tiki which is later, I think

Yes the gold label tikis have the shorter ones and white label ones have the longer ones...well all the ones I have and had....
but, they could have used what they had too... it's not in stone for that reason.....
