Lucy's Ukulele colored strings on a 1950's Regal Uke

I call this my party uke. The strings sound like normal CF strings and the tuners are smooth and solid. A nice solid ukulele that isn't so valuable that I can't pass it around. I think it looks as fun as it sounds. What do you think of the tuners, strings, and choice of ukulele?

Oh man, I adore those tuners! I have that exact same model uke though it doesn't look anything like as cool as yours! I think you've done a lovely job with it. I did a similar thing to an old regal...think it's 40's though not sure...but now I gotta find me some of those tuners to finish it off, thanks for the post brother

What a coincidence that we both chose to "party up" a Regal. I love what you did to yours too! very creative. The tuners are on ebay under Lucy's Ukulele. They were $18 plus shipping, which is a little much for me to spend on myself, so I dropped a few hints with my folks around B-day time and look what happened!
