Sampson (Tommy McCook cover)

Time for some Studio One! Sampson by Tommy McCook, from 1964. My favourite ska song ever. I like the contemplative, melancholy mood of this song. Tommy MacCook was one of the founders of the Skatalites, but also recorded under his own name and brings a wonderful jazz saxophone to the Ska table.
Two tracks with ukulele, two tracks with melodica and a dubby little ubass (which you can't hear on an iPhone or iPad...)
