Two questions for my UU pals:

(1) Does anyone have tabs for seventies classic by Ace, How Long?

(2) Does anyone know why real music died abruptly in 1990?

Love the bait and switch in this video-- everyone thinks the denim guy standing by the mic with the red Gibson SG is the lead...then the camera teasingly pans over to the "lowly organist" to sing. Of course, that's the incomparable Paul Carrack. lol Thanks for your help in advance, all.

Question #1

Intro: (Verse)
Cm - Bb (just before the chorus play Bm)

Chorus:
Cm - Bb - Ab - Bb (repeat)

That's the whole song!

The voicings I used while figuring it out are:
Cm - 5786
Bb -7565
Ab - 5343
Bm - 4675
Question #2

Real music is dead? The masses just got lazy and dependent on other sources (radio, TV) to tell them what was cool to listen to. Dig deeper, you'll find that music has never died, great songs are being written and performed everyday, all over the world, even if the jaded masses are not buying it and the talking heads are pushing it. ;)

Hope this helps!

P.S. That is a Fender Rhodes, not an organ. One of my favorite electric sounds!

Thanks for the chords. Sounds right to me. Yes.

Good point about music. Perhaps have to dig deeper. But, Another way to think of it is not that the masses got lazy...the corporate music purveyors got lazy. Even lazy John Q Public heard Ace and How Long.

Organ is in quotes. It's a litotes, or figure of speech, in this case denoting the everyman's perception of the musician and his instrument.
