I opted to get my Kala Acacia baritone without a pickup, but now I'm thinking I might want to get a strap, and figured why settle for a button when I could get a pickup!

I have an MiSi Acoustic Trio on my KoAloha concert, and love the no-battery, no controls look as well as the crystal clear sound.

Anyone have one of these in a baritone uke? I asked a repair shop if I bought a pickup could they install it (they don't carry the MiSi themselves) and they said yes, but would it work? (And work well?)

Thanks,

I have misi pickups in all my ukes. In both my baritones as well. I am very pleased.

I have a Pono baritone with a MiSi pick-up.... the sound is GREAT! - I was very pleasantly surprised when I plugged it in. It feels like the deeper sounds of the baritone balance out the treble-y sound you get on MiSi equipped tenors. Go for it!

I put a MiSi in my Pono baritone and it works just fine.

I put MISI pickups in our two Acacia Kalas and a Pono Pro classic bari's. We love the richer sound when amplified. We seldom play anymore without plugging in.
