hello there,

can someone help me with a proper playing technique (which fingers/positions to use on left hand) for the minor and major gypsy scales?:
Code:
  Gypsy Major                Gypsy Minor
A||-----------------1--4--5--|-----------------1--4--5--||
E||--------1--4--5-----------|--------2--3--5-----------||
C||--2--4--------------------|--2--3--------------------||
G||--------------------------|--------------------------||

i would like to know primarily how or when to readjust the left hand position when the interval is big

Pretty neat scale there.. dunno about the correct way, but I just did it mostly in the 1st position, index 1st fret, middle 2nd fret etc. and slide the pinky on the 4th/5th frets.

for the minor one i find this one here to be easier:
Code:
Gypsy Minor
|--------------------4--5--||
|--------2--3--5--6--------||
|--2--3--------------------||
|--------------------------||

the major one is hard for me though...

good workout and i really like the sound (me european :)
