Vintage Martin Concert on ebay

That's an interesting ukulele. Walsh/King mentions that Martin went back to wooden pegs during WWII. If this is from that era, it would be from the 1940s, not the 1950s as advertised.

I'd be curious to see what others say here about those wooden pegs.

Wood pegs + decal should be a WW2 era model. I'm waiting for a pre-decal wood peg concert...according to The Book, 406 were made..so I'm not too worried I'll find one.

Ah, a pre-decal, wood peg one. Good pick, peewee. Tahnks for the info, PeeWee.

I just got an Oliver Ditson Boston (not to be confused with Charles "Dreadnaught" Ditson of NY), circa 1925, Style 1. It's good...Walsh/King says only a few hundred built, and O. Ditson models only from 1918-1926. I didn't pay much for it (relatively speaking). So, I know you can find your concert, pschooner and peewee.
