If you're like me, I used the tracking to know when it was at the depot. I went to the back door the morning it was to be put on the truck to my house, and they let me sign for it then and there. Got it about 8 hours earlier than I would have otherwise.

Online tracking can be your friend.

And it can make you a bit of a stalker, too.

Congratulations, nice guy Rob!

Kanilea is one brand of ukulele that I have never, and will likely never, own. They sure use lovely wood.

Savor that new instrument.

You will love your new K, let us know how much you get stung on customs. Pics or it didn't happen :-)

When I got my Mainlands, I got stung for....Import Duty, Vat, and then the post Office charged about another tenor. If for some reason it takes longer than it should, check it's not being held at the depot, mine was there for 2 weeks until I phoned up and found it. I look forward to seeing it.

Nice one Rob! Glad to see it arrived safe & sound. There are now at least 2 Kanile'a K1-T Premiums in the UK (the other one is in my signature...I carried it home from Kauai on the plane).

Make that 3 Big K. I got mine from HMS. I asked them to fit a Mi-si pickup and Andrew took it back to the Kanile'a factory to have them install it for me. Congrats Rob hope you get as much pleasure from yours as I have from mine.

Hi Guys! Thanks for your comments. The uke is amazing. It rings like a bell! My Martin is beautiful to play in a band as it has amazing warmth and projection but the Kanile'a has something special about it! This is my new go-to uke! Its clarity is phenomenal and it has something amazing lurking in the background of the tone... It's hard to put it into words. I would describe the tone of my Martin (which I love) as full of colour whereas my Kanile'a is more cool crisp water on a hot day... If that makes sense! Man I love ukes!
