This is not particularly new, but I haven't heard of it before here or elsewhere.
Google offers a service called Takeout
https://www.google.com/takeout/
that allows you to archive all of the videos you have uploaded to your YT account in one go.
Good for the disorganized IT guy like myself.
In my case, some are from the phone, some lose their audio tracks somehow when they get archived from imovie, etc.
Also reassurance for those of us who worry about being shut down for doing covers
