If anyone has a vintage (pre-1980) Martin style 3 (please, I don't need any other style or type of Martin), for cash, or trade, or trade plus cash, PM me. Thanks!:D

Did all Style 3's not have the skunk stripe on the fingerboard? I thought they did, which makes that one not...but I could be wrong. Mine is a '46 and I have little to compare it to.

Thanks, Ernie. Appreciate the heads up.

They did away with the skunk stripe and the parend, aka moustache, approx 1955, I think, TCK. They became much more Style 2-like after that, but still distinguished by more fretboard dots than a style 2.

I think Zaza is playing similar vintage Style 3 on this excellent Zaza-Middleton video from this week.

I'm looking for one too. Too bad the one at Bernunzio has the large crack in the side and new pegs.
