Ukes in San Diego?

Good Morning!
I am headed to San DIego this weekend through next Wednesday for a conference... well, can't resist an opportunity to explore the local uke community. Anything happening??? Any groups I might crash?
Any music stores I gotta see?

As much as it pains me to say this, The Blue Guitar probably has the best selection of ukes in the area.

Thursday there's a meet up in Carlsbad. Contact the Ukulele Society of America or UU member ricdoug may be able to help.

Blue Guitar is about 15 minutes from the downtown area. The had a couple vintage Martins also new Kamaka, Romero and others. Small shop but I had a nice visit there:

I'll take your pain away right now, misterpk. I live in North San Diego County and frequent all of the San Diego Stores. Giacoletti Music in Carlsbad hands down has the largest selection of ukuleles by a large margin. They are an ukulele store with a few guitars. Ric
