Picked up this very nice C. 1920-30's Gretsch tenor ukulele. Solid mahogany. Craftsmanship is excellent - sound very pleasing, kinda reminds me of a comparable Martin tenor uke. Neck is thin and fast. I replaced the worn out friction tuners with Gotoh planetary tuners.

Beautiful is right -- that uke looks nowhere near its age.

Great score!

Wow, nice ukulele. I've only seen one Gretsch tenor before, and nowhere near the condition of yours. They are pretty uncommon, nice choice!

Wow, it looks great.
I'm waiting on the modern "equivalent" and I am sure it will NOT compare with yours!

Thanks folks - it is a good one, to be sure. BTW, I went back and added a pic of the cool, and probably original, case it came in.
