Just bought one for $33.00 and was looking for some more info. I posted this on the beginner page and I apologize for posting it twice, but does anyone know anything about them, history wise? Was it a good deal?

CF Mountain were a Japanese company that used to make blatant copies of C.F. Martin instruments.
I used to have a "C.F. Mountain Nu-O" ukulele, which was a copy of the Martin style 0.
I think it was a laminate, but a well-made uke nonetheless, with a good sound.

If you're not too concerned with the lack of business ethics (Uluru anyone?), $33 is a very good deal for one of these Mountains.
Congrats!
