Anyone know anything about these ukes?

http://cgi.ebay.com/FLORAL-INLAY-SOLID-MAPLE-UKULELE-TENOR-HANWORKS-UKU534_W0QQitemZ310113589717QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_ DefaultDomain_0?hash=item310113589717&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A16|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Neat inlays and not bad prices. Wondering whats up with them? Anyone played one?

In my humble opinion, save yourself the heartache. See the following threads . . .

Don't even think about buying them unless you want some fancy firewood. You have a slim chance of getting one that will last more than a week.

Oh, and they're not really inlays. They're veneers.

To an internet search with the builder's name and it will take you to a page full of testimonies from a dozen (or so) people who bought these. From what I read, I'd be very cautious.

But they're SOOOooOO pretty!

Sad that such talented inlayers think they have to do something like this to make money. I'm sure they could start a legitimate inlay service.

Thanks so much for the heads up. Very pretty. Too bad the quality is such crapola.

Thanks again.

They're just veneers. It's not legit at all.

We have a member of our local club that has one. It is beautiful... plays like crap.
