Does anyone know or can anyone figure songs or melodies to pick with just one hand? I think it would be a fun party trick to learn a bunch. Then you could play songs while drinking, or maybe playing another instrument.

I don't think I'm following what you are saying. Are you talking about playing with one hand on open strings?

Yeah, with right hand on open strings. Sorry wasn't clear and weird question :)

I can play "My Dog Has Fleas". Seriously, you could tune to an open chord and do single chord songs.

No problem. I'm often "murky" in my thinking. I don't have any ideas, but my son plays this rhythmic lick on his ukulele and it sounds pretty cool, though it would need some lyrics or a melody on top of it.

Here's Al Wood from Ukulelehunt playing one-handed:

(although not right handed on open strings as you asked, but might be a fun party trick too)
