I've just had a bargain of a 6 string uke.
It's strung with a high g and octave pairs of C and A strings.
I like the fuller sound of it but I'm used to having a low G on my other ukes and find it suits my style. I've seen 6 stings configured with a Low G, octave pair C, E and matched pair A. This appeals to me as the low string will be back where I'm used to it but before I jump in and change them I wondered what other (if any) configurations people prefer or suggest?
Any links to video or soundbite samples would also be appreciated.
Thanks
Ed
