Where does it clip to!? I have one of the clip on tuner attachments (otherwise it uses sound) and I used it on my violin... it clips onto the bridge in that case, but where does it go on a uke?

Unless your talking about something else I'm not familiar with,clip on tuners go on the headstock.

I have one of the clip on tuners for my ukulele too. The clip on tuner go on the headstock of the ukulele.

If you've got a tuner that uses the separate lead that plugs into a conventional tuners input jack and has a small clip on the other end, I clip onto one of the string posts. I use this type of tuner and lead on my fiddle bridge and use the small tuner with the big clip on the uke head stock. Both work equally well.

It doesn't matter where you put it to as long as that part is vibrating. It's just important it's small enough so that the clip fits and on a place where it's not in your way, so headstock is the best on Uke.
