Yeah, you're just adding too many beats in there. Play along to the recording, that should help. You also shouldn't start two threads for the same topic. I'll just merge your threads now.

Yeah, it's just 1 too many "up, down up" things.

1. slidy thing
2. up down up
3. up down up
4. up down up
... then slidy thing again.

I'm being very generic, but I'm guessing it makes sense. haha
 
I'm diggin the harmony :D

to pick the slide, i use my pointer and middle to play the E and A string at the same time, instead of using my thumb. it sounds a little sharper to me

I think his ukulele is using B tuning rather than traditional C tuning. That's why it sounds a little different.

I don't know where i got it......I think maybe I saw Aldrine playing it that way, but I can't remember.

No wonder it sounds different (o_O) different tuning......
