I'm sure this has been posted before (it's from 2010 I think), but I just saw it for the first time and thought it was great!

I'm a fan as well. I'm patiently waiting for their new DVD. :p

Have seen that, it's great. I am impressed by how many of them play some of the more common vintage ukes as opposed to "prestige" models.

I love their version of Shaft. You can't help but smile.

I am impressed by how many of them play some of the more common vintage ukes as opposed to "prestige" models.

They performed here in my home town not long ago and after the show they signed CD's and made themselves available to chat with audience members.

I asked one of the group about playing 'prestige' ukuleles and he said they don't see themselves as ukulele players. "First and foremost" he said "we are performers and entertainers".

He went on to say: "Our performance and music come first. We might just as well be playing mandolins or guitars. The ukulele is just a tool."

Love all their stuff, but I think the Wellington Ukelele Orchestra is still my fav.

I love the Wellington folks too. This video I discovered right as I was learning the uke-it is so cool...

I was able to see the UOoGB a few months ago and it was an amazing evening. They did a version of Tiptoe Through The Tulips that was outstanding.
