I wrote this after trying to convince a friend that a made-up word is a word "according to the dictionary", even if it's not *in* the dictionary. The chord changes are loosely based on Thelonious Monk's "Well you needn't", hence the name. :)

Doug, this is great lyric writing! Very snappily played, too.

I understand about the word-making. In an episode of Blackadder, when he's the butler to George II, the Prince Regent, Samuel Johnson brings his vaunted dictionary, with every word in the English language. Blackadder comments, "May I offer my most enthusiastic contrafibularities, sir?" which throws Johnson into a snit.

Doug, that was Super...califragilisticexpialidocious!! :) hmm, wonder if that's in the dictionary yet. ?

Oh yeah! That was smooth-i-licious jazzy playing, clever and fun lyrics, and that uke sounds awesome!!! Super!!!

Thanks, guys. There are a few made-up words in this song, Thelonièsque being one of them, but I think it's pretty easy to guess what they mean. :)
