What Freeze spray does to hot ebony

I am spraying this freeze spray on a Maccassar ebony guitar back as the stuff just split everywhere so i am taking the opportunity to experiment with it and learn a thing or two.

The first was to leave it in the sun for an hour to see what happened, then i used the freeze spray- the vid jumps as the crack scares me.

This is the first set of wood i have totally scrapped in 10 years of making ;(...

So this wood was sitting around sydney drying for about 4 years. I glue it together and about 2 months later it does this

So.....why were you spraying freeze spray on wood??
Maybe that's a good way to deal with all that fire wood I have to split
