A couple of times in the past, I have taken a low end instrument with a crappy rosewood fretboard and applied a light finish. It filled in the gaps in the pores, and it gave the fretboard a great feel. This worked particularly well with a very low end bass.
I simply wiped on some Minwax and that was that.
I'm getting the urge to do this to my Epi Les Paul uke.
Any reason why this would be a particularly bad idea?
