Back about a year or so ago I bought an Oscar Schmidt OU-3. It may be bad or it may be good as ukulele's go, I don't know. I have never had anything to compare it to (not many ukes around my neck of the woods). Recently I have been overcome by the desire to upgrade. So, having heard good things about the new "Mainland" ukes I decided to take the plunge and invest some of my hard earned (and harder to replace) money in a mohogany concert with silver geared tuners and ebony buttons. I know it probably won't make me play like some of you folks (as someone here has said, the ukulele is the most fun I've had being bad at something) but at least I'll know it's me being bad not the uke.

I think you'll be impressed with the quality considering what you paid for. I know we were when we got our promo one. Solid wood construction, high quality geared tuners, real bone nut and saddle, aquila strings. Great choice for a 2nd uke.
