Aloha! :)

Anyone knows where I can get Wooden Buttons (preferred Ebony) for the new Gotoh Planetary Tuners?
http://www.g-gotoh.com/international/?btp_product=uptuptl

Or does anyone know if Wooden Buttons for other tuners work for the Gotohs too?

Mahalo!

Try this site. Not sure how responsive they are, but they are the makers of the UPT

JAPARTS (http://www.japarts.ca/Gotoh/Gotoh-Products-UPT.asp)

They are a distributor, not the manufacturer.
BTW, the stock buttons on these tuners are very nicely finished.

Thanks, guess I gonna ask gotoh if they have an idea.

It's only that I really hate plastic tuner buttons. For my hands they feel just cheap and don't fit to an expensive ukulele... :)

linho, go to Luthers Mercantile,Inc. (LMI) and look for Gotoh tuners. they show gotoh tuners in a deluxe model, gold with ebony knobs.

Might these from Elderly do the trick? - they say they fit Gotohs

There are no ebony buttons available for the UPT tuners, so far, and none planned that I am aware of. The only material other than plastic is aluminum for the two button styles borrowed from the Stealth series (UB2, UB3).

Yes, Gotoh makes them. We* just designed them (http://www.japarts.ca/Article.asp?fID=2013-09-UPT-History&Title=A+History+of+Gotoh+UPT+Planetary+Ukulele).

Doubtful. Not even the planetary banjo buttons fit on the UPT tuners.

* By "we" I mean not me. Yusuke Kawakami (the other half of Japarts) designed them.
