Integrity of the vibration of the top sound board.

Some of you may have read my posts about changing out the preamp of a couple of my ukuleles. In doing so, I found the self stick anchors that hold the cables in place have been attached to the top inside the ukulele. It seems to me that anything stuck to the inside of the top like that would compromise the vibration of the top.

I pulled them off and moved them to the side panel next to where the preamp is inserted, figuring that would have the least effect on the sound transmission. What are your thoughts on that?

As far as I know, they were always supposed to be on the side, and for the reason you stated.
