I have a sweet LoPrinzi soprano (thanks Eugene) with the original "big square" case. Am looking to buy a second-hand smaller hardshell case for traveling - the kind that is shaped like the uke. Does anyone know what brands soprano cases will fit my baby, pls?

I found the Uke crazy hard cases fit. The stag tweed cases do as well.

Oooh--take a look at the Gator GC Uke Deluxe ABS Soprano Ukulele case.

I've had one of these for my little LoPrinzi soprano for eight years and it's the best. Here's why:
--Tough. Not enough that I'd dream of checking it as baggage, but it does give me great comfort when it's wedged in an overhead bin.
--Easy to travel with. Hubby affixed D-rings on it for my for straps to make airport schlepping much easier.
--Holds humidity levels well.
--You can put stickers on it!

It's kinda old school and finding one seems a bit tough these days, but they do have it listed here for $89: http://www.mojomusicdiscount.com/p-597-gator-gcuke-deluxe-abs-soprano-ukulele-case.aspx
