John Legend is the man.
Here are the chords (I think) I heard:

Code:
Everybody Knows
John Legend

Intro:
G#, Cm7, C#, Fm

Verse:
G# Cm7 G#
It gets harder every day, but I can't seem to shake the pain
                                Cm7
I'm trying to find the words to say, please stay
G# Cm7
It's written all over my face, I can't
C#
Function the same when you're not here
    Fm
I'm calling your name and no one's there
C# D#_high G#
And I hope one day you'll see nobody has it easy,
              Cm7 C#
I still can't believe you found somebody new
                   D#_high
But I wish you the best, I guess.

Chorus:
G# Cm7 C#
'Cause everybody knows, that nobody really knows
               Fm D#_low
How to make it work, or how to ease the hurt
G# Cm7 C#
We've heard it all before, that everybody knows
               Fm D#_low Bbm Fm
How to make it right, I wish we gave it one more try (try)
         G# Cm7
One more try (try)
         Bbm
One more try
                 D#_low G#
'Cause everybody knows, but nobody really knows

Bridge:
Fm Bbm
Oh I wish you'd understand
Bdim D#_high
Oh, just an ordinary man
Fm Bbm
Wish that we'd have known
D#_high
Everybody knows, but nobody really knows
C# D#_high G#
And I know one day you'll see, nobody has it easy
              Cm7 C#
I still can't believe you found somebody new
               D#_low
I wish you the best, I guess.

-Chorus chords

Key:
G# (5343)
Cm7 (3333)
C# (1114 or 6544)
Fm (5543)
D#_low (3331)
D#_high (8766)
Bbm (6564)
Bdim (7575)

Not too sure if these are correct, but they sound pretty close. Use D#_low and D#_high interchangeably - whichever one you think sounds better for that moment in the song. Have fun!

shooots.
