NUOTW - New Uke On The Way

I can't say what I just said in real life, so I'll change it up a bit. Holy cow.

Fantastic!!

Same here-

only FOUR days from China to friggin NEW YORK-
where it arrived last Friday-

so genius Fed Ex sends it 150 miles south of here (tuesday)
to put it then in the mail

They're saying Monday, and mocking me
Four days from china, and nine days american Fed Ex
to get here from new york, if even then

Congrats! Beautiful myrtle supersoprano Mitch! The look, feel, and smell of a Port Oreford Cedar neck are wonderful. I've got one uke with a POC neck, and really enjoy it.

It looks like a beautiful, exotic cat gave its pelt for your ukulele. Chocolate Heart Myrtle! Holy Buckets...words fail me!

Love it all, the myrtle, the maple fretboard and bridge, the matching wood in the headplate. Congratulations!

Congratulations! Very unusual look!

There are many wonderful things about well made acoustic instruments, and providing an outstanding display of the beauty of wood grain is right there near the top.

A beauty for the ages.
Port Orford cedar comes from my neck of the woods - very fragrant.

Thanks Hodge, I was smitten with the wood from first sight. I have another with Port Orford Cedar and I agree, it's great.
