It's been way too long since I did a song on Youtube. Here's my latest one. It was kind of tricky!

Way to go, C. Talk about digging out an old one. Maybe even a B side. I relish old gold played on old Gibson gold. Sweet!

(I did a 9 mile hike yesterday, it was so gorgeous here. If you want to hike in New England in Sept 2014, we can talk in May).

I have really been digging The Kinks for the past year or two. Ray Davies is such a funny song-writer, and they played such a wide range of styles.

I did an 8.5 mile trail run today.. gotta get my trail legs firmed up for this coming Sunday!

I think that's your trail half marathon, if I recall.

Good luck on Sunday, Kimosabe.

Yea, the Kinks. I think I read the brothers Davies, who would pretty much strangle one another if they're in the same room, are considering putting all that aside to tour. Better catch one of the first few shows, is all I can say. Lol

PS if your job allows a month off, and few do...lol...I'm planning to do New Hampshire four thousand foot peak baggers...48 four thousand foot peaks in one month. It's an average of ten hiking miles daily for a month, half steeply uphill! All in New Hampshire. But, overnight not on the mountain but at basecamp/truck/hotel. I need to find a reliable partner so my wife will sleep at night with me gone...you know, the black bears. Preferably a partner that runs slower than me. (Old joke). You run faster, but still...fun. Think about it, Chris. You know the Rockies, so you'd be tough for it. Steve.

PPS Here's a fellow that did it (quite a feat, esp in a month). Hey, we could take a photo with our Gibson 3s at the top of each peak!

No, I had a road half marathon LAST weekend (the 20th). This coming Sunday I am doing a 20 mile trail run with my boss. It's a trail we did last year, which was my longest run to date. I just want to try to better my time. My boss (who's 56) does trail ultra-marathons, so this is nothing for him! He did a 100 mile race at Lake Tahoe in July.

That would be fun, Steve, but there's no way I can get a month off from my job. Maybe when I retire!

You're a trail beast!

Okay, when you retire. Got it on my calendar.
