Ukulele with dent in top

Like all your Ukuleles , this one is a beauty . Just wondering , can You notice a difference in sound between a 12 fret and the 17 fret ?

All Mahogany with arched back..with Rosewood fretboard...Ebony nut and saddle...internals neck and tail blocks & linings Mahogany, bracings and bridge patch Spruce...all held together with Red Top Titebond...Finished in Dark stain and Shellac. :)
 
Where was the dent? Under the fingerboard extension??

Yes! it was/is under the fretboard extension...I had a cock up when gluing the dovetail neck joint...The clamp slid off the tail end of the fretboard into the top..made a nasty dent:( it is now a great instrument.

My dad was a cabinetmaker for many years in the 50-60s. He alway said that there are two kinds of craftsmen. One who
doesn't make a mistake and one who can cover-up a mistake. Well done.
