What can you all tell me about an older Kamaka Uke that I found in a pawn shop in Kansas? It is a standard size Koa, very plain, with a white lable inside, and a big double K on the peghead.
The cool stuff that came with it includes a couple of uke method book clearly from the 60's..several partial string sets including some Gretsch Gut strings, as well as an unopened set of senorita string that has a price tag at 80 cents from a music store on the big island. There is also a reciept for those strings that is dated 02/29/1968...leap day...lol.
Nice enough uke, but perfer the martins I have....
Can one of you uke heads tell me about this Kamaka??
