I wondered what experience people here have of concert sized pineapple ukes? How do they differ in sound from a regular shaped concert uke? Is the sound fuller? If so in what way? Are there any advantages or disadvantages to a pineapple shaped body?

I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer that question directly, but I can tell you that my KoAloha soprano Pineapple is just as (if not more than) full/loud sounding than my other concerts.

Size matters, yes, but it is also the build.
I have a David Gill concert pineapple

I think it is louder than most, but I have found that many concert pineapples are just a regular pineapple body with a concert neck.

We only build our Pineapples in concert scale. I think they have more bottom end and a warmer bigger sound then our standard concerts. At least to my ear
