Joined. Trying to decide on strings for my newer Kala solid mahogany tenor cutaway with eq. It's my "surrogate blues guitar." Thinking of the new Southcoast wound metal strings in low G. Anyone try them on a Kala solid mahogany tenor?

Waiting for my Kala SMHB to be shipped from HMS, so yeah, I guess I qualify.

Me too! Joined a moment ago, due to my owning 3 Kalas. I can't seem to stop playing my longneck soprano!

I'm in! (despite my strong Groucho tendencies). Two Kalas and 1 (Ma)kala. Love picking up my long-neck too. Eying that banjo uke.

Perfect timing! Today after trying a KA ASAC Tenor today and being blown away by it's tone, feel, looks and value I purchased it on the spot! Technically it's my second Kala, but my first Solid Wood Kala! I also added a new Hardshell case to go with it so it is kept safe during storage and travel...

Here's a quick picture of it sitting in it's hardshell case.

I love my Kala Acacia Tenor, it is my #1. I'm sure someday I'll own a Tenor in a "K" brand but this KAT will always be #1 in my heart. My wife bought it for my 39th birthday from MGM and it just keeps sounding better and better as time goes on. Enjoy yours!

I just own one, a soprano which is in D tuning. I tried a Kala Baritone the other day; ve..ry nice. It's fuelled my UAS somewhat.
