Mahalo Flying V

Something of an odd one this.

I realised I had reviewed a ton of instruments now, but had had criticism that I hadn't reviewed much in the ultra cheap category.

Thought I would set that right, though the results are not pretty...

I got one of the Mahalo telecaster knock-offs for virtually free (traded in old vinyl that was never gonna get another listen from me).

It actually came with Aquila strings and that was its only saving grace except the tuners are also nicer than your V's. Same pointlessly compensated saddle--which won't compensate for the rest of the failings. lol.

The frets are sharp on the sides, even after I spent some time trying to file them down. It is probably the same laminate. The action was about three centimeters too high (ok, I exagerate).
