According to its new owner Ian Emmerson. Though I intended to make the body much the same size, but with a fractionally wider (2mm) neck at the nut to make it easier to play - judge for yourself if it worked.

That is great! IT makes me think of all the smaller "scraps" of gorgeous wood I cant bear to throw away...and what could be done with them!

Fantastic stuff. I am just starting out to build one for my new born daughter, she was early and is still quite tiny so a piccolo/sopranino seems fitting. Plus I have a nice block of koa just to small for anything else.
