In the 1920s, Nicola Turturro designed and patented a mandolin/ ukulele combo instrument.

I used the patent drawings to make my own solid body version.

That's a crowded headstock! The uke tuners are friction.

Each of the bridges has a piezo rod installed. Both of the scale lengths are 13.875 inches. The fretboards are rosewood and the body is cherry.

That's kinda cool. It just doesn't have the same stage impact of a multi-neck instrument though
