I have had my guitar a week, and looking for that first easy song that I can play on guitar, got a bunch of chords I can play EM, C, DM, D, G,

I'm also new to guitar, about 2 1/2 months. I just started playing the easy ukulele chords of songs I like. I did avoid songs in the key of F at the beginning or transposed them to G, D, A, or E. It's worked for me that way. If using one of the Daily Ukulele books, less chords sure worked better for me but I'm now doing them the way they're written. (only ones I already know how to play on the uke)

Four of those chords you've learnt can be arranged to form the chord progression G D Em C (aka I-V-vi-IV), which is one of the most relied upon in popular music. Axis of Awesome have built a whole comedy career on this basis alone:
To get you going here's two:

The first songs I learned how to play were Slowpoke by Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Swimming Pool by The Front Bottoms, Heart of Gold by Neil Young and Learning to Fly by Tom Petty. If you want really easy Slowpoke is pretty much G, C, D throughout the entire song and Learning to Fly and Heart of Gold aren't much harder. Also The Front Bottoms are a folk punk band so Swimming Pool is basically single notes and a few power cords. Just find something that really inspires you that isn't too hard and try to learn it. Just remember practice makes perfect. Hope this helps

Pleased to be able to say I saw The Only Ones at Sheffield Top Rank in about 1979. One of the best bands of the time.
